About Me

I'm a software engineering graduate focused on full-stack web development. As an enthusiast of web development, designing and implementing software systems at each layer of their abstraction intrigue me. My project 'E-Commerce Platform' is an instance where I designed and implemented each layer of the application from domain model to UI. Machine learning and image processing are also among the fields that I studied and developed projects in. My project 'Nut Classifier' is a project i developed in this field. In addition to my hard skills, my internships helped me improve my soft skills like team cooperation and project management (Scrum). I've improved my teamwork in Biltaş Group, where I cooperated with my lead developer and other developers to design, develop and test a companion app for their systems. And I learned about project management and software development methodologies like Scrum and Agile in my internship at Kivi e-Dönüşüm.

    Throughout my Bachelor's program, I took courses on machine learning and web development, and developed projects for their assignments. 'Nut Classifier' and 'Ecommerce Web API' are one of such projects. I also pursued industry knowledge by joining seminars given at school by working engineers.

    Developed a desktop companion app for Biltaş Grup's e-document management system to enable smart card-based document signing, addressing the limitations of their browser-based client.

    • Collaborated with my software lead on requirements, planning, and testing throughout the project.
    • Used Spring framework for DI and networking, leveraged conditional dependencies to adapt to various LAN configurations that customers have.
    • Leveraged Cryptography APIs (PKCS#11) for secure key management and signing.

    I've learned software development and project management methodologies like Agile and Scrum by closely following Kivi e-Dönüşüm in their workflows. In more granular detail, I've learned about their Github based CI/CD pipelines and configurations of their self-hosted servers.

    My engineer in-charge also tasked me with developing a production-ready web application using some of the components in their tech stack (ASP.NET, SQL Server, EF and Razor pages). The application I developed for this assignment can be viewed in the project titled 'E-Commerce Platform' in my projects section.
